Rules and Actions

Users can create Rules about what happens when certain events occur in a system, or the cameras and devices

connected to it. To provide maximum flexibility, Rules can be congured globally for all systems associated with a

Customer Account. Users can name individually for each system or for each camera or device on a system. Additionally,

Rules can be congured to execute in real-time or on certain frequencies such as: every minute, every  minutes, every

hour, day or week. Users can also dene Actions that are performed when a Rule is broken. Actions can include:

Â Sending an email alert to a user

Â Sending information about the event to the Notication tab

Â Forwarding Counts to an FTP site

Â Digital Input/Output to Phidgets (USB device)

Â Digital Output to the recorder/camera

Â Triggering video sensors
